This triangle plate comes in the two constructions shown: the bare zinc alloy plate with an open hole at each corner, and the same plate mounted on a black pebble-textured leather patch with dome rivets through those corners. The face is matte black framed by a polished silver border, with the lettering raised in metal — a two-tone effect that comes from the plating and epoxy-fill process, not paint. The leather-backed version behaves like a patch: it sews onto the panel around its edge, which spreads the load and suits softer materials like canvas and knits. The bare plate rivets directly into firmer panels like saffiano or coated leather.
